School Streets
Your views on the proposals
The Whitefield School Street scheme proposes the following changes:
- The pavement outside the school will be widened to increase space and reduce the crossing distance at the existing crossing points.
- A number of parking spaces will be removed to prevent drop-offs and pick ups by car outside the school and improve visibility for pedestrians and cyclists.
- Speed humps and speed restriction signs will be installed to slow traffic.
