Consultation on proposed changes to non-emergency patient transport services

Overview

This is an example activity for demonstration purposes only. This site is operated by Delib Ltd and submitted responses will be discarded.

The Ambulance Service is seeking views on proposed changes to the non-emergency patient transport service (PTS).

Patient transport services provide travel for people who need support getting to and from hospital appointments or other healthcare services. We are reviewing how these services operate to ensure they are safe, efficient and able to meet future demand.

This consultation sets out proposed changes to how the service is delivered, including eligibility criteria, booking arrangements and journey planning. We want to understand the potential impact of these proposals on patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
